Last Block of the Month Quilter Extrodinaire...Shelly

Shelly was in the last BOM on Fridays and made 14 quilts for each of her children.  Here are pictures of the tops that she showed at our last meeting.  They are all different and all king size!  Remarkable Christmas gifts!!!!

What is coming up?

Now that the holidays are behind us it is time to look forward to some sewing things!  Tomorrow is Serger Club at Frank's Sewing Center.  I am demonstrating how to put a lapped zipper in with a serger.  I also have a "serger apron" pattern for you.  This sits under your serger to catch thread scraps and has pockets and a pincushion.  The Club meets at 1 or at 6 the cost is $5.  Next week is Block of the Month and we are going to tackle the center block.

There is still room in most of the WCTC  classes.  Here is where you can see the classes and pictures of the class sample.

Chris Kirsch and I are teaching at the Quilters Land Cruise in Racine, the first weekend in March.  It is a fun weekend.  I hope to see some of my students there!  Here is the link to their information page. http://quilterslandcruise.com/

My Open Lab in Brookfield will start again on Monday the 10th of January.  Anyone is welcome to come and sew with us.  Email me if you are interested

Hope to see you soon
